Rainbow Lifegard QL-Series UV Sterilizers

Ultra Violet Sterilizers by Rainbow Lifegard. Rainbow Lifegard's QL-Series UV sterilizers use a test tube style quartz sleeve to isolate the UV lamp from water contact allowing it to operate at the optimum bulb temperature, and prevent the posibility of mercury contamination of the water in the event of lamp breakage. This quartz sleeve design also allows the lamp to be changed without shutting down the system. These sterilizer units feature pure hard quartz material for maximum UV output. 35% higher output than soft quartz bulbs. Hard quartz material resists solarization resulting in longer bulb life (one year).
